Merry Christmas

Firstly, we’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.

2017 has been a big year for us. We started the year pregnant after a long IVF journey, gave birth to Baby DDU a few months ago and started saving for a house.

We want to thank everyone for reading and commenting on our blog. We’ve been a fair bit quieter this year, particularly since Baby DDU was born. Thanks for still following our journey.

So, we promise to you and ourselves that we are going to be a lot more active in 2018. There will be more posts, replies to comments and commenting on other blogs.

Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be posting:

  • Savings Rate for November
  • What shares we purchased in November
  • Dividend Update for December
  • Savings Rate for December
  • What shares we purchased in December
  • 2017 wrap up (goals / finances)
  • 2018 Goals

A lot to get through, so the posts will be coming thick and fast!

Final thoughts

Merry Christmas everyone, we hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends over the next week. We will certainly be enjoying our first Christmas with Baby DDU :).

Thanks for reading this article about our financial journey Down Under.

Onwards and upwards!
